DISCOUNT OF UP TO 18% ON HIGH QUALITY TAILORING
Macways of Bangkok are delighted to offer every JET customer a free fitted shirt for every suit they buy. This offer represents a discount of between 12% and 18%. When you are visiting take advantage of this opportunity.

Thailand is renowned for its high quality tailoring and exceptional value. Each year, several thousand JETs visit Thailand and take the opportunity to have suits and clothing tailored. Macways Custom Tailors of Bangkok, have been in the business for over thirty years, designing and creating custom tailored clothing for ladies and gents.

Monty, Mr Larry and Raj, Macways friendly English speaking staff, will be able to assist you in selecting exactly the style of suit or dress you want. They will also advise you on the various materials in their stock and lend you their expert advice and experience. Macways in-house tailors are able to give each customer the personal attention they deserve and are able to work within almost any time frame, perfect for JETs on a short stay in Thailand.

Macways are able to work with a wide range of fabrics such as wool, silk, linen, and cotton amongst many others. Dealing only with respected cloth merchants, they stock a wide range of the highest quality available. They are able to tailor various styles of suits, dresses, tops, coats and kimonos as well as evening wear such as tuxedos and ballroom gowns. They are also able to duplicate any style you're looking for as well as any clothing you may already have, so simply bring any photos or magazine pages and you can have your perfect suit or dress.

The process involves three fittings and can take less than twenty-four to thirty six hours or as long as a week, depending on how much time the customer has. It runs as follows:

  • The customer selects the style of the clothing and material and initial measurements are taken.
  • The customer is asked to come in for a fitting where the material is cut roughly to the pattern of the garment. Here the position of the body, length, shoulder, sleeves and so forth are checked.
  • A third fitting is carried out where the clothes are ready for the customer to try. At this time, the customer tries the clothes on and sees if any more minor adjustments are still required, if so, they are altered accordingly in a relatively short period of time.
  • Your clothes will then be ready for you to take away, they can also be delivered directly to your hotel or to your home country (the cost of international postage is met by the customer).

Price is dependant upon the fabric one chooses. A two piece suit can net anywhere between THB6500 (USD 150) and THB 10,000 (USD 235); inclusive of material, making, lining (all suits are fully lined) and fitting. For example, a good light-weight wool suit can cost anywhere between THB7,000 (USD 165) and THB8,500 (USD 200) representing exceptional value.

Once Macways have your measurements you can order future suits from their website, choosing from a full range of fabrics, and have the garments sent to you anywhere in the world.
